FUTURE DEVELOPMENTS

Alchema is collaborating in the development of processes for the recovery of a number of metals from complex waste streams associated primarily with the electronics industry but also applicable to the metal finishing industry.

The key projects are : -

• Recovery of tin and nickel from complex waste streams
• Recycling of complex 'micro' etchants and recovery of copper
• Treatment of electronic scrap to recycle both metal and plastic components
