WEEE RECYCLING

Alchema are targeting the WEEE directive as a key piece of future legislation where the chemical stripping of metals from used printed circuit boards and the subsequent re-use of the clean board as a recycled plastic are key issues to be addressed.

We are part of an international collaborative project investigating these issues, which will be key to the succesful implementation of the WEEE directive.

We are aiming to finalise the development of these processes during 2003/4.
